Pendine 2008

In April 2008 the Events Committee, supported by Communities First, organised a holiday to Pendine for mums and their children from Llwynhendy. In total, 60 people went the holiday and everyone stayed at the Pendine Outdoor Education Centre.

The weather was fairly good for the three day holiday, with even some warm sunny spells, which was great for enjoying the massive beach of Pendine and the grassy grounds of the education centre.

During the day, we went down to the beach and enjoying playing games and making sandcastles with the children. In the evenings we had a BBQ in the centre and played a few games of bingo. We also celebrated Committee Chair Claire Gardner's engagement, which was good fun!

Here are some of the photos from the holiday
